    Noo don’t palm mute all your chords it’s bad it takes away the bite and sheer attack of your power chords and rock barre chords if you want to go ahead but font do it on all chords you will wonder your guitar sounds muted it’s because your hand!!!

    Why do guitarists use so much goddamn reverb in demonstrations? Just because your sound is saturated with unnecessary effects, doesn’t make you an ‘expert’.

    No, that method is called palm muting. He doesn’t know what he’s teaching. He’s trying to teach people something, but clearly doesn’t know what HE is doing. If you want to palm mute, you rest your hand lightly on the strings. If you just want to strum, don’t do that.
