    Just play 2 strings at once, but the string that’s closer to the floor (higher in pitch and smaller diameter) 2 frets higher and thats a power chord.

    TO SIMPLIFY THIS. a power chord is just a major or minor chord without the 3rd note of the scale. for example to play E5=E power chord. Just play the first 3 notes (bass notes) of the E chord dont play the G string (G#) note. Same goes for every power chord. Just remove the 3rd degree. Just remember power chords are neither minor or major.

    look online at chord charts. Go to your library. They probably have a ton of books on guitar. Blisters and cuts are perfectly normal when you first start out. You have to develop a callus on your fingers. The pain is temporary dude. I suggest starting with an electric guitar, they are WAY easier on your fingers. If you are playing electcic tt sounds like you might need to take your axe to a music store and have the action lowered.

    bro take it easy,u can do it if i can do it, then u can do it also. Just takes lots of practice. i honestly believe in u i think u can do it just learn NORMAL chords 1st then get everything else you need, Takes time and practice.
